Understanding men

A study group for women.

Six evenings with eight women, learning how men are actually wired and what changes when you stop translating and start understanding.

  • January 21 to April 1
  • Bi-weekly Thursdays, 6:00pm to 8:00pm
  • Eight women only
  • $220

Men aren'tdonkey(we just don't understand each other).

You've explained yourself carefully. You've said it kindly, then said it again with an edge. He goes quiet, or he fixes something you never asked him to fix, and you are left holding the same ache, again and again.

Most of what women read as indifference in men is a nervous system doing exactly what it was built to do. But when you understand your biological differences clearly, the conversation stops being a fight about who cares more and becomes realistic cooperation and success.

Over six evenings we study the differences between men and women plainly: in the body, in the stress response, in territory, in what support means to him and what it means to you. Then we practice, out loud, with other women who want the same ease as you do.

Who this is for

This is for you and the men in your life

  • Sons

You are raising a boy and you want to reach him before the walls go up.

  • Partners

You love him and you're tired of the same conversation ending the same way.

  • Fathers

There is a distance with your dad that you have stopped trying to cross.

  • Brothers

You want to be close and you keep landing on opposite sides.

  • Friends

The men in your life matter to you and you want to understand them better.

  • Strangers

You want to encounter men in daily life with clear discernment and ease.

We can't change men but we can understand each other biologically. And so much connection can come from that.

What you will discover

Six weeks of practical study

  • How the differences in male and female bodies shape our behaviour and communication

  • That support looks different for a man than it does for a woman

  • How to ask for support in a way he actually understands

  • How to set communication goals you can genuinely achieve

  • How to build real ease and understanding with the men you love

  • How to turn your differences into a strength you work with, not against

How it changed in our own lives

Juliana's story

I used to feel like the greatest burden to men. Like they didn't want to help me, and no matter how hard I tried, I never felt understood.

Learning the biological differences between us changed everything.

I no longer take things personally. I can be direct and honest while still sharing my heart. I feel cherished and cared for by the men in my life, including my dad and brothers.

I wish this was something every woman had been taught when she was young!

Jane's story

I happily declare that understanding my husband from a biological lens has completely transformed our relationship and communication.

We enjoy each other so much more when we have reasonable expectations of one another, and I have become so much calmer and kinder towards him.

I feel more feminine and even more empowered as a woman and a wife. I have also noticed so much more openness and cooperation with the men in my family too!

Such a joy to learn how to appreciate and communicate with the men I love!
